Tonight the lovely Caitlin is going to watch Anderson so Peter and I can go to Dali for a belated anniversary dinner. I will be wearing jean capris because nothing else fits. Not too dressy, but who cares. We are getting the bordello table. Should I be worried or excited? Last year, there were approximately eight birthdays, I wonder if that will happen again. Dali isn't the place I think of when I want to go to a birthday dinner. Too expensive, harder to split the bill.

I realized that I need to do a few things before our first babysitting experience. Namely, make the house look at least semi decent. This basically means vacuuming as our cleaners came Monday and I don't want to pick up the shoes all over the house. I was out of the bedrooms (we keep them shut to keep the cats out, but they are open to each other) for at least a half hour on the computer doing nothing when I realize I don't have to wait for Anderson to be awake in order to be productive. So I vacuumed, did my hair, washed my face, and BRUSHED MY TEETH!!!!! (Yes, that is a big one, it is always the last to get done. Yes, I also realize this is totally gross, but I believe in honesty.)

So now it's after 10, Andy's still asleep, and I am clean. Of course I'm wearing nothing but my undies because I don't want to venture into the bedrooms again and potentially wake him up (the doors opening and the floors creaking have woken him in many an occasion, yay for ancient houses). Let's hope the post man doesn't come early, my computer is right next to the door, and I think he may be able to see in!
