Andy Pandandy is getting so big. His new toy is our dining room chair, which he pushes around our empty living room like it's a walking toy. When he's not using the chair, he's using a box for another toy that we've been lazy with and haven't opened yet. And then he even let me hold his hands while he walked. Who is this person? Is this the same guy that a year ago screamed and whined at me so often I thought I was going insane?
It's funny how it's suddenly gotten easier. Sure, he's changing things all the time (like his nap schedule just changed yesterday, screwing up my days), but he's becoming someone I can relate to and work with. He understands a lot of what I say I think, and he's much more fun to be around when he isn't trying to enter my chest cavity because OMG life is so hard when you're one year old.
In other news, Ariel is not using the kitty litter. We are going back to the vet next week, but I'm worried. I think there might be lots of problems besides her new diabetes. And I can't buy living room furniture until she stops this, so I hope we'll be able to fix it. Cause I am NOT having pee covered furniture after spending a few thousand on it.
Also, in bragging news, I had an awesome spectacular Mother's Day. I had waffles (homemade), with whipped cream (also homemade) and strawberries, I took a nap, and got a huge spa gift certificate. I did whatever I wanted, and I'm hoping that (cough) Mother's Day starts happening every weekend (/cough). I have a great husband who makes my life great by coming home every day to feed me and Andy lunch and doing contract work so we can buy fun things like entertainment centers and super awesome mattresses. I love you honey!
