I took my big fat baby to the doctors so they could weigh his big fat bum bum (OMG this bum bum is SOOOOO fat and squeezable!). And he weighs 26lbs. That's a big baby. Whenever I take him anywhere, I hear all about what a bruser I have. And honestly, I don't see it. He's been 26lbs for like two months now, I wish he was bigger. Like 30lbs. He also was measured and he's 30 inches. So he's off the charts in weight, height, and head size too. My future football player!
He was fine besides that, it was a pretty uneventful visit. But Andy did think it was fine to scream the whole time. He used to flirt with women. Now he just yells his pretty little face off at them.
The doctor also commented on his beautiful skin. Not a blemish anywhere. No diaper rash at all. I'm taking full credit for that even though I think he's just a miracle baby that we must have stolen from the hospital.
In other baby related news, he's still only thinking about crawling. He wants too, sometimes he can get on all fours for a millisecond. But mostly he just wants to drag himself four inches over to the lap top or else find something closer that he can stick in his mouth. I love that he isn't moblie yet. Once he is, I can't stick him on the floor in front of Sesame Street while I play on the computer. That's when the real mommying begins. I'll have to worry about his safety, teach him no, and start being the bad guy. And I'm not looking forward to that.
Ummm, holy crap he's a big baby!!!!
Sammy's stuck at 18lbs, and we get comments all the time about what a chubby baby he is. I think his cheeks are misleading, though he does have a few rolls on his legs and arms.
I still think Anderson runs a very close second to Sammy in the World's Cutest Baby content. ;-)
Wait til he starts crawling... everyone told me I'd rue the day I wished for him to crawl, but I LOVE it! I can't wait for him to walk!
