Today is the first day in a while that I don't feel totally busy and overwhelmed. The holidays do that to you I guess, but it took a hell of a long time to wear off. I still have a ton to do, but if I was to do nothing today and all of it tomorrow, no one would be the wiser. Except Peter I guess, he can't use his dining room table with all of our Christmas stuff on it. Really, packing it all up isn't nearly as fun as pulling it all out.
I've decided that I want to decorate for Valentine's Day. Actually, I decided this last year, but since I was working and dealing with rush, which took up all of my mental capacity, that never actually happened. But here I am not working, still able to drive, with rush not starting for another few weeks at Tufts and over a month at Bentley. So I need to get cracking. I know of a Christmas Tree Shop in Natick, I may drive down there next week if I'm feeling motivated. I wonder what Valentine's Day decorations look like.
Nothing else is really new. Smore was kicking my ribs last night as I learned to play Magic (next up-D&D, hahaha not). My right boob is killing me and I don't know why. I've had the weirdest dreams about my childhood, except all the memories are false. Last night there was a restaurant I went to all the time when I was little (only in my dream), but it also hosted this weird British tv show. Some sort of comedy thing. At my table was a person acting out cheese and Columbus. It was funny in the dream. The details were amazing though, I still can see the sign above the counter for Miller Light. There was no price.
Is it just me, or are there a lot of animals with extra parts all of a sudden. A fish with two mouths, a snake with two heads. What is next? I'm hoping for a cat with two tails or quadruple paws. Or a bird with four wings.
Edited to add: How could I forget the 6 legged puppy?
